LOEWE. Found dragging twenty feet
of metal chain on a harness attached permanently to his
body. He was wild and had been abused.
After months of love and care, he was adopted
by a couple, newly retired, with a fenced in yard and the
time to give him the love he needed.

SUNFLOWER. Another wild dog that
had never been around humans; the rest of the litter was
extremely aggressive and she survived by submissiveness.
She overcame her fear of humans and was
placed in a family that later became SPCA volunteers themselves!

NASHA-POO. This happy dog has no
issues, she's just too dark to see in the cage! We are now
creating animated gifs like this to showcase dark dogs that
are hard to see in just one photo.
After 7 months at the SPCA, she will lived
with us until meeting a wonderful woman who also volunteers
for other humane organizations and adopted her.

Harley. Harley is a happy man.
Once again, a dark dog in a dark cage sits
and sits and no one looks at him. Until you get them out
and once again: what a wonderful personality! He loves children,
cats, people, pets... and after fostering (and some training)
was adopted by a little boy and his family.
